Nadir Bonaccorso was born in Milan in 1967. In 1997 led his own office (nbAA). He starts working with passive solar energy in architecture, extending his research interests and applying to competitions. Invited to teach project class at the UML (Lisbon), at Esad (Matosinhos), and INTA (Sobral, Brazil). Endorser for the Green Building European Program (2005). Member of the Council and Vice-President of the OASRS between 2008 and 2012. Worth mentioning the special prize of the Sustainable Architecture Award Fassa Bortolo (3rd edition), the First prize in the international competition ARCHI-EUROPE-SAIE selection 09. His works were selected for the Biennal of São Paulo and the 54th Bienal of Venice. He presented his works, and has been published, nationally and internationally. In 2012 released his monography fuNking life. In 2013 start his investigation on slum houses and move to the Northeast region of Brazil, until 2016. Currently, have delivered his Ph.D. on passive strategies for poor dwellings in tropical climates.
